that all i manage to sew during CNY hols.... it take me hours to place the ruffles... hehe. I like it and going to wear it tomorrow.
last night I started on another shirt project... different pattern; not as fitted as above and gathered sleeve. The fabric is dark grey flower on cream Japanese cotton I bought two years ago, which is suitable for current hot climate... These two patterns come from two different Japanese books I bought a few years ago. They are altered and modified to suit my un-Japanese body :) and I've made many plain work shirts from them.

cantiknya! perfect for office wear. I wish I can sew as well for myself, selalunya disaster je if sewing clothes untuk diri sendiri hehe :D
Thanks Zura. You are so humble, ur sewing skill is excellent. I banyak trial and error to get good pattern and result, lagi satu I hate unpick sewing mistakes sbb tu I jahit jelujur dulu, before tekan dgn mesin... so I usually take longer time to complete... :)
great job.. bestnyer bleh jahit baju sendri.. rajin nyer you jahit jelujur dulu!! but i understand the feeling of having to rip or undo the mistakes.. boring btul... uhuhuh
Thanks Sue. I gotta jelujur it... amateur. I used to have many unfinished projects which became a source of jokes to my family; and also rugi kain cantik2... I love my Japanese pattern books, the pictorial instruction is so clear and helpful.U are so lucky living in Japan...
